So I had a really great night and I wanted to share it with someone, even if it was just the cold, lifeless embrace of the internet.

It didn't start out exactly dicklicious. I had to call my mom and explain to her that there's no way my not having a consolidation loan for my alternative loans is messing up her credit like the letter from "the government" she got says it is... Got to talk to a friend from Nashville, which is nice, but I'm so shitty on the phone, especially when I call people for a living. But then the nice started.

So it started out in the gym. I was gettin' my jog on, watching some trashy VH1 reality TV show, when I noticed dude was seriously cruising me. I thought, "Finally! I am falling into the stereotype of gay dude who hooks up at the gym!" I walked by him on my way out and after really hardcore staring at me for a while he asked me how I was doing. I said fine, returned the question, and went on home. I had Brother Ali playing (his happy stuff, not the angry songs about his ex-wife or whatever) and cooked myself a delicious corn and turkey burger meal. There was milk and tea involved. I watched Rome, which is just plain a good show, and Titus Pullo is cool. I fell asleep after reading my novel, Pharoah by Karen Essex which is just plain a good read, and listening to Macromantics. I had a dream I got the lead in this musical, right? And it was really cool. The lead originally had blue hair and it was about this group of non-threateningly hot hip-hoppers, but the music was upbeat and pleasant (not unlike the Brother Ali I was listening to! Huh!). There was a fair amount of shirtlessness and cool graphic design in the show/my brain. Then I woke up and hit the snooze button twice and still got to work early. So far it's a good day.
