I think, sometimes, that I am really funny. Here are funny things I wrote.
(Selection from the online journal we completed as student in Japan, 2003)
After the aforementioned events, The Cabal was treated to a guided tour of the Imperial Gardens. The most amazing thing for us, apparently, was the algae-ridden moat-like river enclosing the gardens. "Whatever," we all said to the rest of it. The most populous area of the gardens was an iris display. Many people taking many pictures; Tony scared by flashing lights. Another source of endless wonder was the alarmingly large size and amount of eldritch spiders and their webs in the many bushes. Koi also supplied enjoyment.
A kindly old woman who reversed my stance on the elderly got us onto the right bus. At our stop, we once again asked for directions, but when we needed to say, "Where is the entrance?" like the heels we are, we forgot "entrance" and instead said "not exit", because, you know, we could remember that one.
Lunch was good. We ate it.
(the opening line for a story I had to write for my forensic science class)
It was a fine seasonal day when we were called in to investigate the murder of Dude McOwnstheplace and his wife, Wifey.
Okay that's all.
